How does Covid-19 Affect the Students?

Before the Covid-19 epidemic, cafeteria protests had started in Istanbul University in the last week of 2019. These spread to many universities such as İstanbul Teknik, Özyeğin, Gebze Teknik, and Boğaziçi. Campus protests such as these, revealed the difficulties students experienced especially in socio-economic terms. In fact, as we mentioned in our article on students’ grievances, the protests “were the only visible part of the income inequality the students faced.”
