After receiving her BA in Sociology from İstanbul Bilgi University, Zeynep completed her MA degree at Koç University Comparative Studies in History and Society. She is currently continuing her doctoral studies. She has been actively involved in civil society work in the fields of freedom of expression and LGBTI+ movement. Zeynep is a founding member and the deputy executive director of Civic Space Studies Association.
