Dormitory Decision is Abolished in METU

After the decision of the President of Turkey and the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), the senate of the Middle Eastern Technical University (METU) announced the online education via e-mail on 20 of February. The e-mail included the information that the students have to come and check in on the same day, otherwise, they will not be admitted to dormitories. To protest this decision, the students organized protests. As a result, the school administration abolished this decision and the student representatives managed to open the dormitories for all students.
