University clubs and student societies have shown their support for remaining a part of the İstanbul Convention on social media under the hashtag #İstanbulSözleşmesiYaşatır (#IstanbulConventionSavesLives).

They stood together against the annulment of this convention, which aims to eliminate violence against women and protect the right to life of women, children, elderly, disabled, immigrants, refugees and LGBTI+ individuals.
